Pinesong Building G
Pinesong Building G is a retirement village apartment building located in Greenbay, Auckland. The building is 6 storeys high and contains 48 apartments and a partial basement for parking. The structural design of the building was completed by New Zealand Consulting Engineers Ltd. The building structure consists of a central reinforced concrete core which provides lateral stability to the building. The floors consist of steel tray composite flooring supported by composite steel beams. The building is supported on piled foundations. Jonathan Tait completed the regulatory peer review of the structural design during his time working at Structus. Critical aspects of the design were the vibration analysis of the composite steel floors and the lateral load resisting system.
